if our cyclists aren't the fastest riders in the world, they could be the smartest in avoiding all sorts of obstacles. Sorry too eager to have a world champion.
remember all the talks about creating job opportunities? more crashes means more bike sales and more visits to the doctors, i.e. more job opportunities
insufficient confidence towards bollards. One single bollard will not be strong enough to stop the entry of cars.
thanks it give me a chance to catch my fast riding buddy
Since Hong Kong is supposed to be a world-class city, something must be done to show off its wealth. If one row of bollards is functionally sufficient, then giving it five rows means we are five times wealthier than the majority.
The rows and rows of bollards remind me of a traditional Chinese school about making use of various orientation and placement of obstacles to prevent entry of enemies. It is believed that through clever calculation, an array of obstacles can stop millions of soldiers. The practitioners of this school are supposed to be the wisest men in the country. The designers of the cycling path must be trying to imitate this school of study.
